- Child and family benefits
A supplement to the Canada Child Tax Benefit for children with severe and prolonged disabilities whose families have low or modest incomes. It is a tax free benefit for families whose child is under the age of 18 years. - Community Care Access Centre
Provide in home assistance from a personal care worker, nursing, speech therapy, occupational and physiotherapy. 14 local offices across Ontario call 310 – 2222 to find your local CCAC office (no area code is needed for this call). - Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital
Canada’s largest children’s rehabilitation teaching hospital fully affiliated with the University of Toronto providing information and resources for children and youth with disabilities. - Ministry of Community and Social Services
Government funding to help cover the additional costs of having a child with special needs living at home. Eligibility is based on family income. Maximum amount per month is $430 depending on the income and your child’s needs. - Ontario Early Years Centres
Provide services and programs for parents of children up to the age of six. - Surrey Place Centre
Help children living with developmental disabilities reach their full potential. - Tax information for persons with a disability
The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) administers a range of benefits and credits for persons with a disability or those who are caring for a dependant with a disability. - Toronto Children’s Services
